This detailed weekend course, being offered for the first time online by Darul Iftaa, will discuss all matters pertaining to marriage. It will cover everything from the definition/meaning of marriage and love, objectives of marriage and selecting a suitable spouse, to sexual intimacy, living a marital relationship and resolving issues that all married couples face. A great emphasis will be laid on separating cultural practices and Islamic teachings. Whether you are unmarried, married, or have children of marriageable age, this course is for you. If you are unmarried, this course will prepare you for your future marriage life. If you are already married, it will help you better your marriage. If you are a parent with children of marriageable age, it will help you deal with an important and critical stage of your child’s life, In Sha Allah. Above all, this course will teach us how to please Allah Most High through the beautiful relationship of marriage.

Shaykh Mufti Muhammad ibn Adam al-Kawthari is a traditionally-trained Islamic scholar who has studied the Arabic language and various other traditional Islamic sciences including Qur’anic exegesis (tafsir), Hadith and Fiqh in different parts of the world including the UK, Pakistan and Syria.
The Shaykh has taught many courses and lectured extensively on a range of topics, and continues to travel regularly teaching and lecturing both in the UK and abroad. Presently, he resides in Leicester, UK. He is a teacher of various traditional Islamic sciences, and Director and researcher at the Institute of Islamic Jurisprudence (Darul Iftaa, www.daruliftaa.com).
